History

Serpaara, deriving from the names , Serpent Demon and Gaara, came from a millenia ago. A child named Gaara, carrying the Seven Pronged Seal on his face had wondered out of the village to release his anger in the midst of a sand storm. The child had exceptional control of the sand for his age, being about 16. As the storm settled, the sky turned black, and a typhoon filled with blue lightning stretched across the desert. When Gaara looked around, where there was once sand, was a burial tomb. He wondered over to it to check it out. The deeper he went, the darker it got. Something was creeping around him, but he didn't know of it. He just noticed the blood stained wall. Once he got to a certain point, he entered a huge room. After he took his first step in, a door slammed behind him. Gaara began to use sand to try and budge the door, but it only got stronger. And then, out of nowhere, a green fire shot up from the center of the room, followed by smaller fires on the walls to light the room. Where the green fire shot from, was a tablet made of stone, and it called Gaara's name. Gaara went to read this tablet, he had gotten half way through before he noticed something filling the air, but he kept reading the tablet. When he had finished reading the Tablet, He fell back onto the ground, completely in shock. He quickly ran to the door, using as many sand attacks as he could to open the door or break it.

A tapping noise had been heard behind Gaara. Gaara turned around and saw a odd looking demon. A cloaked man who's face was that of a serpents, and behind him was two giant serpents, one of sand and the other of Lightning. Gaara faced this demon, ready to fight. Gaara had began to sign, forming the symbols as he whispered, "Sand Coffin". The sand wrapped around the demon, and squeezed together. Gaara looked happy for a moment, but then the demon stepped out of the sand, and opened it's mouth, revealing his mouth full of Serpent teeth, It jumped at Gaara, phasing through his sand attacks. He stopped right infront of Gaara and smirked a bit. The Demon placed his right hand on Gaara's forehead and began to merge with the child. Gaara could not move as the Serpent Demon possessed him. Eventually they were one.

The now possessed Gaara had chuckled a bit as he moved his body around, getting adjusted and figuring out his container. He then thought of a name for him, "Serpaara" He called himself that as he chuckled. The door had now open as Serpaara stepped out of the tomb and walked to the surface, to be bound by the desert for another millenia, killing anyone he pleases as long as they travel into the desert. Once the millenia was up, he would be permenantly free. He learned many techniques while he was in the desert, adding onto his power.

Now that millenia is up and he walks about, fighting, trying to live a regular life, though cursed by his seal.

(The tablet pretty much was a prophecy stating who and how Serpaara would come about.)
