Ninjutsu
=========
Sand Storm: A strom derived of sand that fills the atmosphere with sand, changing the arena.
Sand Typhoon: A storm with typhoon based physics that release sand instead of rain.
Sinking Sand: A vortex of sand opens in the ground, slowly spinning, that slowly absorbs the opponent, dragging them 200
yrds below the ground,
Sand Barrier: A wall of sand rises infront of Serpaara, blocking most physical attacks and some ninjutsu.
Basilisk Wall: A wall of sand arises from the ground, about two stories tall and twenty yards wide, that hold the shape
of two basilisk fighting in the center. When neared by opponent, Basilisk release from the sand, attacking enemy.
Sand Puppet: A being made of sand forms into the same figure of Serpaara, having only taijutsu attacks, but can assisst
Serpaara in some Genjutsu.
Sandball: A ball of dense sand forms in Serpaara's hand, and when released and hits opponent, it spreads around the opponent,
restraining them.
Spike Strip: When any form of wall is formed, Spikes emitt from the wall, forcing the enemy back.
Sand Cacoon: Sand shoots toward the opponent in the shape of a hand. When it nears enemy, it forms a thick cacoon around
it, and crushes them.
Sand Burial: When Sand cacoon is succesful, Sand Burial may be used. It forces enemy under ground and forms a encasement,
stronger than diamond around the opponent.
Ocean of Sand: The arena, no matter the element breaks down into sand and forms into an ocean of sand and forms tsunami's
of Sand that crash down on the opponent, destroying everything in it's path.
Cherubigan: A mixture of Rasengan and Cherubi.
Armor of Sand: Using this jutsu, Serpaara can cover himself in a compacted layer of sand, providing an additional defense
should his Shield of Sand fail. Though quite effective, maintaining the armor requires a large amount of chakra and stamina.
Chakra Absorption Technique:This jutsu allows the user to absorb the physical and spiritual energy of an opponent. The
user doesn't have to actually touch the opponent, since it is also possible to use it through other media. The only necessary
condition is some medium through which chakra can be channeled.
Chidori: This jutsu channels a large amount of chakra into the user's arm. The amount of chakra is so great that it becomes
visible to the naked eye. The technique actually alters the nature of the user's chakra, effectively converting it into electricity.
As a side effect of the conversion process, the large amount of chakra, and the speed at which the user moves, this technique
makes a loud noise similar to many birds chirping, hence the name (if the user is not in motion, it merely makes an electric
crackling sound). Once the technique is completed, the user charges forward and stabs their enemy with it. The amount of thrust
combined with the large concentration of chakra allows the user to stab through almost anything; as such it is usually fatal
to the enemy. This technique is classified as an assassination technique because of the speed at which it is performed, despite
the loud noise it produces.
This jutsu has a major drawback, however. The speed at which the attack must be done, combined with the fact that the
user must run in a straight line, causes a tunnel vision-like effect for the user. This allows their enemy to easily counter
the attack, making it a potentially lethal move for the user. But due to Serpaara's "Tembichi" eye's, the drawback
is no concern.
Chidori Current: A variation on a regular Chidori developed by Serpaara during his Millenia in the desert, this jutsu
allows Serpaara to cover himself in electricity, instead of just concentrating it in his hand. The electricity can be channeled
anywhere, allowing Serpaara to enhance his attacks with it. Because it is channeled throughout his entire body and not concentrated,
the electricity will only cause temporary paralysis instead of killing an opponent. While this is not a problem in one-on-one
battles, it does allow others to save their comrade if Serpaara is outnumbered. Serpaara can also channel the electricity
through his Kusanagi sword, increasing its overall strength and cutting power.
Dead Soul Technique: Using this jutsu, a person can temporarily reanimate a corpse, creating the illusion of a living
person. This is achieved by causing the heart to beat once more, allowing the user to control the corpse. The reanimated corpse
can serve as either a short-time ally or an effective decoy.
Desert Coffin: This jutsu uses sand to grab the opponent and cover their entire body. This skill is primarily utilized
for rendering an opponent immobile, but can kill the opponent by suffocation or by being followed with the Desert Funeral,
which crushes them.
Desert Funeral :After wrapping an opponent with sand, Serpaara will cause the sand to implode and crush whatever is within.
When used to kill a person, the death is so quick that there isn't even time to feel pain. The pressure also produces a sizable
fountain of blood. Serpaara can control the pressure used in the attack, which allows him to merely break bones or completely
liquefy an opponent.
Desert Imperial Funeral: Following the Quicksand in the Style of a Waterfall, Serpaara slams both hands palm down into
the sand, creating powerful shockwaves that compress the sand. Anything buried in the sand is subsequently crushed.
Desert Prison: This jutsu is a massive version of Serpaara's Desert Coffin, using an entire desert's worth of sand to
trap an opponent.
Desert Suspension: Using his sand as a platform, Serpaara is able to float in the air.
Earth Release Barrier: Dungeon Chamber of Nothingness: This jutsu traps the victims inside a self-repairing dome of earth.
Serpaara is able to absorb the chakra of anyone trapped inside, something he enjoys greatly. Serpaara's chakra is distributed
throughout the dome, but not equally. Near the back (relative to him), less chakra is present, making the dome weaker in that
spot.
Earth Release: Earth Shore Return: After striking the ground with his hands, Serpaara creates a large wall of earth that
rises into place as defense. The defense is not perfect though, since a hard or drilling impact can puncture the wall.
Earth Release: Earth Style Wall: The user spits out a stream of mud that quickly grows and solidifies into a strong, protective
wall.
Earth Release: Inner Decapitation Technique: The user, emerging from the ground below the target area, pulls down the
opponent so that only their head is above ground.
Earth Release: Rock Lodging Destruction: This jutsu dislodges rocks above an opponent to crush them.
Earth Release: Split Earth Turn Around Palm: This technique causes the ground surrounding the enemy to spiral inwards
on itself, burying them alive or crushing them.
Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld: This jutsu turns a large area of land into a sinking swampland, making it impossible
for anyone or anything in that area to move around. The size of the swamp is proportionate to the amount of chakra used to
perform the technique. When performed properly, it is supposed to engulf the target completely.
Earth Release: Underground Projection Fish Technique: Using this jutsu, a person can hide underground until they're ready
to attack an opponent.
Feigning Sleep Technique: Once Serpaara assumes his full Basilisk form, he can use this jutsu to put himself to sleep,
allowing Basilisk's spirit to take over.
Fire Release: Ash Product Burning: Unlike other fire-based jutsu, this jutsu allows the user to breathe out a cloud of
superheated ash capable of causing third-degree burns. Because it is ash and not flame, the ash remains in the air around
the target, and therefore remains potent for a longer period.
Flapping Chidori: Using the power gained through the level 2 form of his Seven Prong Seal, the Chidori that Serpaara was
taught to use as a "blade" to protect his comrades is warped into a dark version of itself that is used to sever
his ties with them. In contrast to the usual chirping of birds that the Chidori is known for, this technique emits a noise
much like that of a large number of birds taking flight. Its power far surpasses that of the normal Chidori.
Flying Thunder God Technique: This jutsu was created by the Fourth Hokage and the reason behind his nickname, "The
Yellow Flash of Konoha" (木ノ葉の黄色い閃光,
Konoha no Kīroi Senkō?). It allows the user to move over large distances with ultra-high speed. . Additionally,
it makes no noise and produces no puff of smoke, allowing the user to appear behind someone unnoticed.
To activate this jutsu, the user needs a special seal or "jutsu formula" (術式, jutsu-shiki?)
to mark the destination. After this is done, the user can almost instantaneously transport himself to that location.
Great Ball Rasengan: This is simply a larger and more powerful version of the Rasengan, but also more unstable.
Hidden Shadow Many Snakes Hand: This jutsu is similar to the Hidden Shadow Snake Hand, but with far more snakes. In addition,
these snakes can stretch to much greater lengths.
Hidden Shadow Snake Hand:This jutsu allows the user to project a number of snakes from their wrist or sleeve as they make
a punching motion towards their intended target. The snakes can be used to inflict multiple wounds at a distance or hold a
target in place. The snakes are even capable of poisoning the victim
Kusanagi Sword: Long Sword of the Heavens: This technique arms Serpaara with the Kusanagi (草薙, "Grass
Halberd") of Japanese legend. To retrieve it, Serpaara opens his mouth and a snake comes out. The snake then opens its
mouth and produces the Kusanagi. The sword can be produced either handle or blade-first, allowing Serpaara to wield it from
his mouth if necessary. The sword can cut through almost any object, its blade can extend to many times its normal length,
and it can be controlled remotely by Serpaara.
It is a guardless, double-edged jian.
Can be amplified with his Chidori Current.
Last Absolute Defense: Shield of Basilisk: Using sand, Serpaara can create a toy-like replica of a Basilisk roughly twice
his size. The replica is created with extreme pressure and the hardest minerals in the area combined with his chakra, making
it virtually indestructible. Although this technique requires a lot of chakra, it does provide for a very powerful defense.
The main drawback is that the replica is immobile, which restricts its usage in most situations.
Leech All Creation: Attack Prevention Technique: Using this jutsu, the user can merge with another object and take on
its properties to avoid any damage.
Darken Blade: This jutsu is an enhanced form of the Chidori, and has the same, albeit more powerful, effect. Serpaara
is the only one able to use it, and it is named as such because he once cut Forsakengod's "Dark Nova" with it before
it hit Serpaara. This jutsu requires a larger amount of chakra and better chakra control. This is exemplified in their respective
appearances. Whereas the Chidori creates a large mass of chakra in one hand that appears near-white, the Darken Blade is considerably
more concentrated and appears in the Jet Black color of dark chakra. Serpaara can only use this technique four times in a
given day.
Living Corpse Reincarnation: This jutsu, developed by Orochimaru, allows him to transfer his soul to another's body. If
repeated periodically, it basically grants Serpaara immortality as long as he can find new host bodies. In order to perform
the jutsu Serpaara must first leave the body he inhabits via revealing his true form. He then swallows his chosen container
and the pair of them enter a dimension within himself similar to the innards of a snake. Once there Serpaara "digests"
his victim by covering them in snakes made from the fleshy lining of the dimension, leaving only their face uncovered. Within
this dimension remain the souls of every living person he has used as a container. From here he takes control of the container's
body, which emerges from the molted shell of his snake body, thus completing the jutsu ritual. As shown with Serpaara's attempts
on Zonaracku, this jutsu can be stopped.
Serpaara can only perform this technique once every three years. It also seems that when the three years are almost over,
he is forced to move into another host, as the previous one begins to reject him. This rejection may be due to Serpaara's
hosts being unable to contain his considerable power. Presumably, if he had a proper container, he could stay in the host
for a full lifetime.
Mind Body Disturbance Technique:This jutsu is a variation on the Mind Body Switch Technique. Instead of transferring the
user's consciousness, this jutsu sends a spirit of confusion into a target, causing them to attack their allies. Although
the target is aware of what they are doing, they are unable to stop themselves. For this particular jutsu, the user is able
to stay in their own body, unlike its predecessor; however, the user must maintain the hand seal used to activate it.
Mind Body Switch Technique: This jutsu allows the user to send their mind into a target's body (even an animal's), supplanting
the target's mind with their own. Though normally used as a spying jutsu, it can also be used in battle with several major
drawbacks. First, the user's spirit travels slowly, making it easy to dodge. If the user misses their target, they are left
helpless until their spirit returns to their body, which takes several minutes. Second, even if the technique does work, the
user's ability to stay in an enemy's body is determined by how fatigued they are. The user can be forced out if facing a strong
enough will, they are too tired, or if the target is in incredible pain. Finally, any damage the user suffers while possessing
another is transferred to their original body. Therefore, if the target dies, so does the user.
Spike Guardian: Using this jutsu, Serpaara can grow and harden his spiked hair to form a shield around him, protecting
against most physical attacks and possibly injuring the attacker.
Prison Sand Burial: Using this jutsu, Serpaara can quickly loosen the ground below his opponent and cause them sink beneath
hundreds of meters of sand. Serpaara then compresses the sand to such an extent that his opponent is unable to even move a
finger.
Quicksand in the Style of a Waterfall: This jutsu creates a massive amount of sand and sends it towards an opponent in
the form of a wave, covering and engulfing them in an ocean of sand. In addition to the wave effect of the jutsu, Serpaara
can control the sand, allowing him to attack his opponent while they attempt to evade the wave. This appears to be the only
one of Serpaara's moves that requires hand seals, and in practice is virtually unavoidable. Once completed, it can cover an
entire forest in sand.
Rasengan: The Rasengan is a technique invented by the Fourth Hokage after three years of development. It requires a very
high level of chakra control. The Rasengan incorporates the chakra control learned from the tree-climbing and water-walking
exercises to create a ball of concentrated, spinning chakra in the user's hand that is slightly larger than a baseball. For
training purposes, teaching the technique is broken into three steps. The first, emphasizing rotation, the user has to learn
to pop a water balloon by spinning the water inside in multiple directions with their chakra. The second step, emphasizing
power, they do the same with a solid rubber ball. Since the rubber is thicker and air is completely different from water,
it forces the user to rely mostly on denser chakra to break it. The final step, emphasizing control, the user has to form
a complete Rasengan by combining what they learned in the previous two steps and making a ball shape shell around the spinning
chakra to hold it in regular shape. A regular balloon is often used to train making the shell.
The Rasengan requires no hand seals to perform, instead relying entirely on the chakra control of the user. Once the user
creates a stable Rasengan, however, it becomes self-sustaining, so the user does not need to provide any more chakra after
forming it. The force of the spinning chakra grinds into whatever it touches, causing major damage. The force of the attack
also causes significant internal injury. The user can also release the spinning chakra, creating a violent explosive force
at the point of contact. The one drawback of the Rasengan, if it can be considered as such, is that it requires great chakra
control. Of course, this will not be a drawback if the user has learned the technique, because they already possess the necessary
chakra control. It can be a problem if some force is disrupting the user's ability to mold chakra. Unlike the Chidori, there
is no definite limit to the amount of times this technique can be used in a day. Because it uses far
less chakra in comparison, it doesn't carry the same over-use risk as the Chidori, either.
Sand Clone:This jutsu creates a clone of Serpaara out of sand. Perhaps the most versatile of all clones, this variant
does not disperse when hit. When attacked, the affected area turns back into sand and snags the opponent. Major damage must
be caused to actually disperse the clone (destroying its head, for instance); otherwise, it can simply reform.
Sand Drizzle: This jutsu is an alternative to Serpaara's Desert Coffin; it gathers sand in the air and then targets the
opponent from above, covering them in a rain of sand.
Sand Shuriken: Shuriken made from sand. Unlike regular shuriken, these are merely fast-moving balls of sand that cause
blunt trauma, not actual wounds. They are thrown much faster than regular shuriken; therefore, the pain caused can be considerable.
Secret Healing Wound Destruction: Serpaara can concentrate his chakra to a prepared area on his body and begin regenerating
the moment the targeted area becomes damaged. Unlike normal healing, this can actually restore dead cells.
Shield of Sand: This jutsu causes sand to automatically surround and protect Serpaara from harm, even if it's self-inflicted,
regardless of whether or not he wants it to. The shield is capable of withstanding considerably strong attacks and projectiles,
and can be hardened to a point where it's stronger than steel. It can be defeated by avoiding it completely with extremely
high-speed attacks, or merely overcoming the shield with incredible brute force.
Sphere of Sand: Serpaara surrounds himself entirely in a protective orb of sand to guard against attacks. He then uses
Third Eye to watch his opponents movements and control sand as necessary to battle them. In addition to being extremely dense,
this sand-sphere can form spikes from its surface to spear any would-be attacker who thinks that their own physical strength
will be enough to penetrate it. Serpaara can also use this technique to shield himself from his opponent long enough to perform
his transformation.
Summoning: Impure World Resurrection: This forbidden summoning technique allows the user to revive the dead. The user
must first sacrifice a living human in order to tie the deceased person's soul to the world (unlike the normal summoning technique,
which only requires some of the user's blood). The sacrificed body is then surrounded with dirt and dust that compacts into
the shape of the summoned soul's original body. The resurrected person then rises from the ground in a wooden coffin. At first,
the person appears pale and dirty, as most undead are portrayed. The user has to restore their appearance through a special
seal.
When revived, the person retains all of their memories. Because of this, the revived person is not completely under the
user's control. With the same seal that restores the revived person's appearance, their free will can be erased, thus putting
them under the user's complete control. The summoned person can't be killed and any damage to them regenerates. The soul must
be removed from the body in order to kill the resurrected person. This technique can also be used to summon multiple people
at once, depending on the amount of sacrifices and the chakra level of the user.
Summoning: Rashomon: This summoning creates a demonic form of the main gate of old Kyoto which is capable of blocking
almost any attack. It was previously believed that two people were required to summon it, as both Sakon and Ukon did; however,
Serpaara has been able to summon three of these gates by himself with his Triple Rashomon. To do so, he simply uses both hands,
instead of one as is common in a summoning.
Technique Neutralize: This jutsu cancels or impedes the occurring of the opponent's technique. It uses the same amount
of chakra as the jutsu it intends to cancel.
Third Eye: This jutsu creates a floating eyeball out of sand that is connected to Serpaara's optic nerves. Serpaara can
control the size of the eye depending on its use. Its main purpose is spying, since it can form and disperse in any location
on command.
Triple Rashomon: This jutsu is an advanced version of the Summoning: Rashomon used by Serpaara. It creates three demonic
forms of the main gate of old Kyoto, instead of just one. Additionally, Serpaara is able to summon them without the aid of
another individual by using both hands for the summon.
Twin Snakes Mutual Death Technique:This forbidden jutsu is a murder-suicide attack – killing both the user and
the target. The user makes a one-handed seal with both their hand and the intended victim's. Two snakes are then summoned
from the user's sleeve, biting both their wrists and killing them by deadly venom.
Vanishing Facial Copy Technique: This jutsu allows the user to peel the face of another person off and wear it like a
mask, effectively impersonating said person. In addition to copying the victim's face, it also copies their voice. The grisly
after-effect of this is that the target loses their face entirely, as if it were dissolved clean off their head. Serpaara
uses it to infiltrate and assassinate. Serpaara can seemingly do this at will to mimic his original appearance.
Wind Release: Drilling Air Bullet: Serpaara takes a deep breath, distending his stomach, and punches himself in the gut,
shooting a large ball of compressed air and chakra at an opponent, causing an enormous conflagration if it hits. Even opponents
as large as mountains are in danger against such an attack. The technique is also able to level trees and rip rocks apart.
Wind Release: Great Breakthrough: This jutsu sends out a powerful explosion of wind from the user's location, easily leveling
anything in its path. A variation of this technique involves a smaller blast of wind that gets ignited with flame, making
it stronger and more damaging to the target.
Wind Release: Infinite Sand Cloud Great Breakthrough: The user spews a large amount of sand from their body, devastating
both the enemy and a large area around him
Wind Release: Rasengan: This jutsu combines Serpaara's wind-based chakra with the Rasengan, maintaining the stability
of the previous version while increasing its power by a significant degree
Cherubi: A Dark version of the Rasengan.
